Thomas M. Hutto

ATTORNEY

Mr. Hutto graduated with a B.S. in Geology from Sewanee: The University of the South in 1998 and received his law degree from the Nashville School of Law in 2012.  Joining the firm as an associate in 2013, Mr. Hutto enjoys working with small businesses, sole proprietorships, and nonprofits from their inception. In addition to assisting his business clients, he also enjoys working with clients on estate planning and handling diverse real estate matters. Thomas also currently serves as the attorney for the City of Lewisburg, TN.

In his free time, Thomas enjoys reading, aspiring to play tennis, and spending time with his family. Thomas, his wife, Amy, and their sons, Carson and Elliott, reside in Columbia, TN.

Scott Pilkinton

ATTORNEY

Scott Pilkinton joined the firm in 2024 and provides estate planning and probate services to our clients. Scott served as the Special Master for Judge Randy Kennedy in Davidson County for eight years after graduating law school. In addition to Maury County, Scott will serve clients in Williamson and Davidson counties to help them through the probate process. Scott graduated first in his class from the Nashville School of Law in 2011 and received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University.

Jessie Ring

PARALEGAL

Jessie began her legal career with Clark and Washington in Nashville, TN, in 2016, after receiving her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies from Nashville State Community College. She joined Dale, Hutto & Lyle, PLLC, in 2020.

In addition to paralegal duties, Jessie also communicates with firm clients to ensure their needs are met in a caring and efficient manner, and she is the first face you see when you come into our office.

Jessie and her husband Matthew live in Columbia, TN, with their cat named Toby. When she’s not at work, she enjoys video games, good food, and reading all kinds of books.
